I saw the new Revlon Kiss lip balms and grabbed 3 to try!
While browsing for my drugstore makeup haul, these balms jumped out at me as being right up my alley. Sheer color, balmy texture, easy application and super affordable?! I’ll probably get the other shades, too!
So the flavors I chose are Crisp Apple, Juicy Peach and Berry Burst.
I didn’t expect any color to show up on my pigmented lips, and when I first swatched the lip balms on my hands, I thought I’d be right.
But as you’ll see in my future posts with more pictures of me wearing these…the colors DO show up very nicely!
I like that they include natural fruit oils and SPF 20, as well. Grape seed oil is one of my favorite oils to use on my hair and scalp and I’ve heard it’s nice for the skin, too, even on your face. Yay!
These are perfect lip products to carry around all year long, especially in the harsher summer and winter elements.
The tube is a twist up one made of plastic and the cap is plastic, as well. I think the colorful fruit theme of the packaging is fun and I like the large crayon size of this lip balm.
And YES, each balm does have a light fruity taste, but nothing that lasts long or interferes with the taste of foods =)
My wear time for the Revlon Kiss lip balms were just a couple of hours for moisture/shine, and about 4 hours for the color.
I do think the moisture benefits add up over time, though. The oils seem to condition the lips.
I’m so glad I picked these up, I use them daily lol. They were more expensive at the drugstore; there’s currently an even better deal that I found on Amazon!
Spring has never been a go-to makeup launch season for me. I usually prefer the new products that drop in the summer and fall, but I have a feeling this year will be different! Makeup lovers rejoice ^_^
